A love of finely crafted timber has drawn
Helene to be inspired to create pieces that
reflect the nature and beauty of wood.
Helene attended the Forest Heritage Centre’s
Introduction to Wood course, was so enthused
with working with wood & fine furniture that
she decided to postpone retirement plans,
and joined the Diploma of Art-Furniture Design.
She is inspired by
the texture & colour of timber & strives to
reveal this in her work.
