The Forest Heritage Centre is unique. While there are many interpretive facilities set in a forest environment none contain the intricate machinery of industry, a museum of social, natural and industrial history and a working school of fine wood training.

Enjoy the 11 metre high tree top walk that takes you into the Jarrah/Marri forest canopy and see the many wonders of the Forest and the Australian School of Fine Wood at the
Forest Heritage Centre, Dwellingup.

The Diploma of Arts (Furniture Design) is now taking Expressions of Interest for the next Diploma course starting in 2009 in Dwellingup. This 2 year course focuses on the development of excellent hand skills and design skills in the first year, which lays the foundation for the further development of your skills in furniture design and construction in the second year. There is a shortage of these fine woodworking skills in the timber trades, so fast-track your way into the sharp end of the timber trades. Or you can use this course as an alternative pathway into the Bachelor of Arts (Furniture Design) at Curtin University and gain 18 months credit towards their degree course after successful complettion of the Diploma.
